AFT Calculator

About this calculator

An independent scoring tool built on the Army's own published tables.

Why this exists

When the Army Fitness Test replaced the ACFT on 1 June 2025, the scoring scales moved with it. The official tables are published as a single dense PDF — ten age bands, two columns each, five events, and a hundred point rows — which is accurate but almost unusable when you just want to know whether a 16:30 two-mile is good enough.

This calculator does one thing: it reads those tables and tells you what your results are worth, event by event, the moment you type them in.

Where the numbers come from

Every threshold is taken directly from the Army's published AFT scoring scales, approved 15 May 2025 and effective 1 June 2025, and stored exactly as printed. That includes the dashes — the point values that are unreachable on a given scale are left out rather than filled in, so this tool will never award a score the official table does not recognise.

Nothing is interpolated, smoothed, or estimated. If the table says a 240 lb deadlift is worth 79 points in the 22–26 band, that is what you will see here.

What it cannot tell you

It cannot tell you whether your grader will count a repetition, whether your plank held its line, or whether your unit is applying the combat standard to your MOS. It scores numbers, not performances. Treat the result as a planning figure and your official scorecard as the truth.
